Sun City Oro Valley Area Attractions

Sun City Oro Valley residents should definitely check out the Colossal Cave situated 22 miles south of Tucson. You can enjoy a guided tour, and western trail rides, picnic spots and campsites are all found here.

Situated one mile north of Sunrise Drive is the De Grazia Gallery in the Sun, which is a distinctive adobe structure built by Ted De Grazia who is famous for his images of Indian children and angels. This gallery is home to a lot of his ceramics, original paintings and bronzes.

Other places of interest include the Reid Park Zoo, Arizona State Museum, Tumacacori National Historic Park, Catalina State Park, Oracle State Park, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and the list goes on.

Industry Expert Review

While the community is older than some of the others in the area the majority of the homes have been update   d and the entire community is meticulously maintained. The landscaping is more mature creating a lush environment enjoyed by many. Also the amenity buildings are constantly maintained and update   d as needed. Because of the smaller community size residents seem to enjoy really getting to know one another and as such the community is active in many civic and charitable causes.
