What is Unique about Summertree?

Summertree is unique in that its one of the most affordable communities in the area. It features a public Golf Course that residents can enjoy for a fee. The community of Summertree in New Port Richey is a continuous development project of various homebuilders since 1974. To date, the 55+ adult community is still under development and is to have 800 single-family homes when complete. New and resale homes of creative designs are available for interested homeowners. The prices are affordable and range from $50,000 up to $250,000 for the attached, condominium and villa and single family home designs.

The residents of Summertree are satisfied with the active lifestyle that they are experiencing. The 9-hole golf course, outdoor pool and other amenities are more than enough to support their desire for an active living. 

Within the picturesque community of Summertree is a clubhouse that offers top-notch amenities for active adults 55 and better. The community is a well manicured neighborhood where every tree and landscape shrub seem to be in the perfect spot. 

The exercise room is a favorite place of the fitness buffs. Although some may not be into lifting weights and running steady for minutes, they can attend classes at the aerobics and dance studio or play at the ball courts like tennis courts, bocce ball courts or shuffleboard courts. The 9-hole executive golf course is one of the main attractions of the community. The sun lovers will also have fun swimming at the two outdoor pools. Inside the clubhouse are the sewing studio, card room, theater, computers, library and billiards room.

There are scheduled social events throughout the year and the residents can also plan their own dance weekend or travel getaway with friends. During weekends or whenever the urge arises residents can simply drive through Highway 19 and land at select   shopping destinations, dining restaurants, banks and other boutiques. More options are available once they reach Tampa area that is just 40 miles away from Summertree.
