Parmelee is nestled in Myrtle Beach and delights in the limitless opportunities for entertainment and recreation in a picturesque atmosphere.

Parmelee has a clubhouse with a goal to ensure that everyone stays active. The fitness room is a great place to stay in tip top shape, equipped with cardio equipment. The kitchenette is a space with a fridge and microwave and is ideal for those who will be hosting events inside the clubhouse. The sundeck and resort-style swimming pool are located at the back of the clubhouse where you can soak the heat of the sun and take a plunge.

Parmelee residents delight in this beautiful community that promises a low-maintenance lifestyle. There is a homeowners’ association fee that covers the overall maintenance of the amenities and community grounds, trash removal and lawn care. Parmelee started its development in 2012 by D.R. Horton and will comprise of 158 attached homes upon completion. Interested homebuyers can opt to have a resale or newly constructed home and can select     from the two floor plans available. Brookhaven model offers 1,802 sq. ft. of living space and features a two-car garage, three baths and two bedrooms. Both home models have master bedrooms on the first floor, but Brookhaven has an additional room on the second floor that can be converted into an office or a den.

On the other hand, the Wellington model offers 1,952 sq. ft. of living space and features a one-car garage, three baths and two bedrooms. Likewise, it has a second floor with a bathroom and loft area. It is ideal for active adults as it has an open floor plan as well as a patio that makes a nice place to entertain guests.

Parmelee Area Attractions

Because Parmelee is situated in Murrells Inlet, this community is enveloped with numerous choices for entertainment and leisure. The Myrtle Beach area is less than 15 miles away and offers terrific shopping at Barefoot Landing or Myrtle Beach Mall. Golf enthusiasts can head to any of the several golf courses that accommodate beginner to advanced players. Murrells Inlet Marshwalk is a beautiful fishing village located on the south end of Grand Strand. Then there is the Huntington Beach State Park that is close to the world-famous Brookgreen Gardens. Its maritime forest, freshwater lagoon and salt marsh are the best examples of South Carolina’s natural coastal atmosphere.

Small community of 150 homes built around a small community lake giving many residents scenic lake views. The small pool is just the right size for the community. Living here is about enjoying a Myrtle Beach lifestyle with a very low annual cost of ownership. The floor plans by DR Horton Homes are spacious and well designed. You will love this location being so close to the dining and waterfront opportunities in Murrells Inlet.
